After resistance exercise, your body opens up an anabolic window which allows both muscle protein synthesis and also muscle protein breakdown. This window is open for several hours and is an integral time span for the supply of Amino Acids (protein) to the body.

With the correct supply of Amino Acids after exercise, the rate of muscle protein synthesis can be greatly increased whilst also reducing the rate of muscle protein breakdown. Within Elite Organic Protein, we have employed four different protein sources to do just that.

While Whey protein is rapidly digested by the body, this protein alone cannot cover the complete after exercise recovery duration. With the addition of a Soy Protein Isolate, we bridge the gap between the fast acting Whey and our third Protein source, the slow acting Casein.  This combination of protein sources thus provides an improved and prolonged supply of Amino Acids compared to the many traditional Whey and Casein blends seen on the market today.
